Scope and Contents
The largest playbill collection at the Libraries comes from the estate of Bernard H Craven 1905-1992 of Redlands. He amassed a collection of about 3,000 playbills from the United States and Europe. The playbills include drama, dance, music, and film productions from the early 1920s to 1992.

John Dockweiler was a consulting engineer for water and power companies in Northern California near the San Francisco area. He represented Spring Valley Water Company, Cuyumaca Water Company, San Francisco's City Distribution System, and Marin County Water and Supply company. He worked on water projects during the early 20th century. Dockweiler's papers also include 19th century court cases such Spring Valley Water Company vs. City of San Francisco.
